Chapter Fourteen
The night was long and troubling for more then one of the mobians living in Shadow's household. Both Sonic and Shadow had nightmares this fine night. Both dreams filled with knights, horses, swords, demons, and medieval times in general. Although, each were slightly different with varying outcomes that hardly matter at the moment.
And, with different dreams, each hedgehog woke in a different manner. Shadow woke slowly and breathed a small sad sigh. While, Sonic simply screamed at the top of his lungs and flung himself from bed to land with a thud on the wooden floors. Of course, Rouge came running to make sure that Sonic was alright. After verifying that he was perfectly fine she happily led him to the kitchen and asked/commanded him to help with breakfast.
It wasn't at all long until a grumpy, old ebony hedgehog joined the pair in the kitchen, but he just sat down and waited patiently for his breakfast-something other then food obviously on his mind.
"Morning Shads~." Rouge said cheerily, placing a plate full of food in front of the thoughtful male.
She only gained a simple grunt in response to her kindness. With a slight frown Rouge abandoned the hedgehog to his food and thoughts to go eat her own food and make sure Sonic ate his.
Shadow hardly touched his food, too thoughtful to want any of it. Sonic, on the other hand, devoured his. Rouge, being a lady, ate hers with dainty bites of happiness.
When all were done but Shadow-Rouge finally cleared her throat to catch the striped male's attention, "Weren't you going to start training Sonic today, Shadow?"
Shadow inwardly groaned at the thought of training such a stupid hedgehog before growling, "Oh yes, I'll attempt to train the bastard." He stood from the table and lurched from his chair, stumbling slightly before walking calmly away.
Rouge sighed, "Ignore his insults, Sonic. Go ahead and follow him. Despite the fact he's a lonely idiot without a life-I'm sure he'll be able to teach you sword fighting."
Sonic fake smiled on the outside, inwardly dreading his "Teaching-time-with-Shadow". Who wouldn't dread being alone with the scariest, creepiest, oldest, guy ever? With a small, almost silent, sigh he got up from his chair and hurried after Shadow.
Shadow had entered the sword room and opened the big glass cases, removing his own sword as well as Caliburn. King Arthur's sword seemed only ecstatic to be used again, "Good morning Lancelot. Will you be training Sonic today?" the sword questioned.
"Obviously…" Shadow grumbled, bringing the two swords from the room only to bump into a certain annoying blue hedgehog. With a small growl he shoved Caliburn into Sonics hands and led him deeper into the depths of his mansion until the two reached a spacious gym-like area. Sonic could only stare around the room and wonder why an old ex-knight would need such a large gym.
Shadow turned to face the other, "Ready?" he questioned, holding his sword with a strong single hand.
The azure could only blink, "Wha…what?! Aren't you going to teach me?!" he sputtered, fumbling with his handle on the sword.
"I believe that this will be a good enough teaching for you." Shadow stated with a smirk before lunging at the confused hedgehog. With ease he knocked the sword-Caliburn-from Sonics' weak grip.
A frown came across Shadow's muzzle, "You weren't prepared for the attack, your grip on the sword was weak, and you didn't even take a defensive position or try at all to defend yourself. In other words-you'd be dead."
Sonic fumed, "Maybe if you, I don't know, actually TAUGHT me SOMETHING I wouldn't BE so TERRIBLE!" he snapped at the ebony, lifting his sword from where it had fallen upon the ground.
So, Shadow took the time to explain to Sonic how to hold his sword and the better defensive positions when it came to sword fighting. Sonic absorbed all the information like a sponge, and was a fast learner, but it would never be fast enough for the criticizing Shadow-whom was always displeased with his student.
They sparred all day, Sonic not even getting the chance to take a swipe at Shadow and his strong blows and quick movements. Sonic fumbled around the whole time and was slick with sweat from the effort of trying.
Shadow, on the other hand, was clean of sweat or expression. He won their small "duels" in less then a minute and this was an easy work-out for the seasoned knight. Eventually, though, things became challenging when Sonic started to notice repetition in Shadow's attacks and made the first contact with Shadow's sword earning a slightly surprised expression from the old knight. After that Sonic remained a pathetic opponent at best.
"Can we take a break already, Shadow? Please?" the drained azure hedgehog asked, panting for breath and using the back of his free hand to wipe some sweat from his forehead.
"No." Was Shadow's simple answer to the plea and he kept on attacking the azure, bruising his arms and wrists from hitting his arms to knock the sword away-And, eventually, caused Sonics arms to bleed.
"STOP!" Sonic yelled, dropping Caliburn with his arms shaking. A few drips of blood hit the wooden floors. He didn't even wait to start crying or something stupid in front of Shadow and instead darted from the gym to escape.
Shadow just frowned and walked forward to lift Caliburn from the floor, "He's so weak, Caliburn…" he mumbled softly.
"But he will learn…and I will teach him…"

No matter how fast or far he ran he always ended up back at the shore of the green glittering lake. If he wasn't running in a strait line he would acuse himself of going in circles. The more Sonic thought about it the more confused he became. "I wish Shadow was here," He murmerd to himself," at least then i could enjoy a good fight." He continued to gaze across the water.
Soon Sonic was in awe because the center of the lake started to glow purple and red. An eirely sweet voice said," Your wish is my command," while sonic traind his eyes on the space next to him that began to faintly glow red and black. "Your rival is here at your and only yo

Chapter 1
It was a nice summer evening and a family of hedgehogs were sitting in a park. The bigger male was a light blue with a strange hair parted in five spikes on his forehead. He had chocolate brown eyes . He was wearing a white button shirt with the top buttons undone to revile a white patch that covered his neck all around. A female s

Love Behind Bars - Chapter 1
Even though G.U.N had a small clue of who was their thief, it didn't help as much as they thought. Why, though? Because they had searched through the whole database, and none of the criminals coincided with the small description the anthro had given them. There was no report of a blue-spiked thief attacking any other parts of the world, and, so far they investigated, there wasn't such an anthro in Mobius. That was a puzzling fact that hindered their research, but they decided not to give up, and so they keep on trying to find the responsible for all their mess.
They did not know that after he was caught damaging property, he started watching

WELL-I didn't forget about this story. NOPE.
Well, I know I changed this from our RP. And I apologized, but I think this shows how harsh Lancelot/Shadow can be. He was just-at this point-throwing his best and Sonic to make Sonic look like a shitty aponent. And to get at his emotions.
